About Claire Ford

When Claire was 11 she won a fancy dress competition in rural Cambridgeshire UK, with a self-visualised depiction of an 'old fashioned country girl' and unwittingly got her first big laugh.  The quest for comedy began...

Eventually, after taking off the fancy dress, she studied TV & Film Production and then went on to gain a Masters in Performance at a prestigious London drama school, where they told her she had a face for comedy.

Combining all those skills and talents, Claire co-wrote, produced and performed shows with Nicky Wilkinson as multi-award-winning comedy duo The Kagools at the Edinburgh Fringe, Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival and more.

Now based in Sydney, Claire writes comedy and drama for the screen.
